CPU/Mobo Cheap Athlon64 Boards - SiS chipset

Quite true, it was a well known fact ever since the A64s came out that the only differentiating factor between chipsets would be the additional "features" they would be offering :) Seems rather difficult to differentiate yourself from the crowd merely based on things like LAN, firewire, USB etc etc.

Thats where the nForce3/4 separate themselves by offering a solid overclocking platform for the enthusiasts.

I just purchased 3 * Asus K8S mobo's for my cousin, and I should say they are awesome for Office usage infact due to the Micro ATX design the airflow has improved too. Lol Intel is a waste at present, AMD can blow them away in India if they market correctly instead of depending on Stupid Priya computers.

Why not an Asus K8V? I think there's not much difference in price between the two.

AMD is visible enough in India right now, word of mouth has also helped spread how good the Athlon 64s are. I think they depend on a few other importers apart from Priya Ltd like Abacus Computers.
Its not really Priya's fault, it has always been AMD's attitude to not advertise aggressively like Intel, the only advantage being it saves advertising money and results in lower CPU prices. But me thinks they should firmly push forward when they have such a powerful CPU at their disposal. As can be seen, the effect of Intel's advertising is that they are firmly in people's minds even through their trying times. As of now, nobody but the enthusiast segment are aware of Presc-hot problems , so the P4s continue to sell

But the best part is they advertise Dx 8.1 support the onboard video but I tried many games, infact only 1 of them was working that too HL 1 all others were giving corrupted or textures not rendered correctly. SIS onboard gfx is hopeless for gaming infact even a GF2 mx would be better atleast many games work on that...

amd seems to be starting to advertise thesedays slowly, they had amd64bit processor add on the sidescreen during the 1 day match ind v pak.
