Adept
Hi all,

I am looking for recommendations on a nvidia chipset card with hdmi port. I am specifically interested in VDPAU support (known as CUDA in windows) and intend to use it with MythTv.

Any cheap PCIE cards out there?

Thanks

PS:Only need nvidia cards and no ATI please

I see that one of the TE members has a Palit GT240 for sale in the members section for 2750. The card is perfect for MythTV or XBMC.

He would be better off with the 2x series for MythTV. He also probably wants a ultra silent card as it will possibly run near the TV. My choice would be 210 or the higher model. I have a Geforce 210 that works great in XBMC.

This is a better option. I have a Zotac GT 430 card in my HTPC & I use it for watching Movies using Windows Media Center coupled with mediabrowser & CoreAVC( for CUDA acceleration)

Try to get the Zotac If you can as it provides 2+3 years warranty on registration after purchase of the card.

Why not this card being sold in the above link ? Similar specs, brand new with 6 months warranty less for half the price. (Im not related to the sale in any way)
