Cheap Router with DDWRT/Tomato support to run as repeater + another router

Hello!

Looking for a cheap router that can be used to extend my wifi network across my house. I'm currently running and old Buffalo G125 on Tomato.

Also looking for a router that has a print server functionality either out of the box or with DD-wrt. This router will mostly be placed a floor about my flat, and needs to have decent range too.

Looking to get the two from flipkart/ebay tomorrow!

Oops, Don't think I was too clear,

I need 2 routers.

1. To use as a repeater, either on stock firmware, or running dd-wrt/tomato -> Here the cheaper it is, the better.

2. To use as a print server/File server preferably with support for Dd-wrt/tomato if needed.
 
Hello all!

I need to pick up a new router, and need some inputs.

Can one router be used both as a wireless bridge and as a repeater?
The current scenario is that I have a Asus RT-N12 on the floor above, and need to hookup my desktop to it, along with couple of wifi devices downstairs..
The range isn't that bad, but would like to boost it. Is it possible to have one router do the job of both? Bridge as well as the Repeater?
