Cheap wifi router for download purposes

I got my friend's asus wl-520gu for a while. We got tomato firmware running on it and optware on a usb hard disk. It runs transmission very well and acts as ultra low power download rig :ohyeah:. I am planning to have a similar setup and want to know if anyone is using any other router which is more capable ( powerful processor/ more ram ) for similar purpose. :)
 
I don't think you can flash Belkin routers with ddwrt/tomato firmwares...cheapest router to support ddwrt is Dlink DIR 300...
 
Well the router should have a USB port as well to download stuff to. I guess asus is the cheapest one for this.
