Cheapest 55" inch TV suggestion

Forerunner
I need a cheap 55" or bigger TV suggestion,
  • Since I use a Fire TV Stick, OS is not a problem. If a non-Android TV drops the price, it's better.
  • I think 60hz at least is necessary
  • Mainly used by parents for youtube
  • HDR and stuff is not neccessary if price is gonna increase
  • No netflix, no amazon prime, etc.
  • Bad sound is not an issue as I have sound bar.
  • For casual vieweing and showpiece
  • Will be wall mounted.
  • Maybe QLED is good if its cheap?

Please suggest.. amazon or flipkart links.

Thanks for all the suggestion u guys,
Currently, since hisense e7k has been vouched and due to its cheaper price, its under preference.
More are welcome from VU? Xiaomi?

Before buying Hisense, check the android version, they are very bad at sending out updates. You maybe stuck with 9.0, and if you ask them they will give a standard reply " if there are updates, younwill automatically get it"

My aunt has a VU Tv and it's display is so awful man. Maybe in higher models it might be better

I would recommend first deciding if you want a VA Panel or an IPS panel. If the room is wide then the viewing angles on VA panels are going to be bad. The image will get washed out after about 45 degrees either sides from the center. Other than that a few recommendations below.

Hisense E6N 30k
Hisense E68N QLED 35k
Xiaomi X Series 37k

Xiaomi is also releasing their qled tv tomorrow if you want to check that out. Around the same price range you'll also find brands like TCL, Acer, Toshiba, Vu etc. I would recommend Hisense over them. As for customer service, it can be hit or miss for any brand, even the big ones like LG, Samsung and Sony.

I would advise against hisense purely because of service and qc issues…

I have a e7k pro which is great but I received a faulty unit and the ordeal that i had go through to get it exchanged was quite frustrating..
Agreed, I had BPL TV which was basically a rebadged Hisense, when you connected it to Windows PC it identified as Hisense.

Lasted just a year and half, was too costly to repair. Changed it for a Samsung and it's been running fine for over four years now.
