CPU/Mobo cheapest core 2 duo compatible motherboard?

actiually there is nothing exceptional in P5WDH when it comes to hardware.
Its exact same hardware combination thats used in Bad Axe. its 975X + ICH7R. If its faster it will be very very marginal.
It does have lots of copper dumped on it though and thats what gona make it ultra costly. probably the most costly board that will be launched in India ever.
It will surely be more user friendly than Intel board though.

P5WDH has reached 450FSB after loads of modding done on the board.
The funny thing is the shipping / 1st bios for this board dont have voltage options for conroe cpu
ofcourse bios update will solve this. This is the main reason we havent seen too many usual ocing results on thia boards. i.e without any mods as simply without vcore options you cant know ocing potential of this board.
Its slated for 20K+ release. I hope Rashi just uses its brains and price it lower. But it might not as its expected to cost arm + leg even in the US.

First of all...as everyone know Rashi overprices anything they sell....and when i say overprice........i mean it

Second when i said get AM2 i said it for 2 reasons....first as someone pointed out...its future proof. In two ways. All you have to do is get gud quality DDR2 RAM with a mainstream MOBO and something like a 3800+ or 4200+(Considering that 4000+ isn't there to be found... ) OC it to FX 60 speeds and u'll be set for a gud 2-6 months...unless ur too big an enthusiast with even bigger pockets.......by that time AMD will be ready with an answer and/or INTEL's core prices will be stable too(More importantly they'll actually be there to buy instead of waiting and we'll know the correct price). So basically ur future proof in both ways....you can keep ur current system...upgrade the proccy or just get a Conroe after saving some money for it. The RAM will work in any case and will be a gr8 investment. Since the MOBO should be atleast a mainstream one you shouldn't lose a big amount on it And as far as Conroe beating opty goes....check my sig (the Oblivion scores) and tell me if you see a difference between Conroe and Opty scores.:tongue:

amd x2 4200 even at stock should last a yr and a yr more if you overclock it to amd fx 60 speeds, is it even possible for a x2?

I"ve seen X2's running at FX-60 speeds.....if you want picks see the THG AM2 review or any other that you can find of the 4000+.....opty's are gud but AM2's DDR2 RAM is a better option....you need an upgrade path u know. As far as Rashi NOT overpricing goes....go check the prices on thier website...last i heard they were selling a 7900GT for 33000 and 7900GTX for around 50000
