Laptops Choice between ACER lappies

Hi. I wud be in need of a rather basic laptop for the summer. And as it happens my dad will be visiting Singapore next month. So I have narrowed my search to the following two:

Acer Aspire 5610AWLMi Notebook 1.86 GHz
Acer Aspire 5612ZWLMi Notebook Laptop 1.60 Ghz Dual Core

The price difference comes to about 2.5k. My question is how do the two processors compare T1350 and T2060. Also is Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG network connection being absent in 5612ZWLMI a problem?

Also if you feel that in the same bracket 30-35k other options exist please do mention.

T2060 without a doubt over the T1350

try getting at least a T2400, or a T5500 if possible...but if not, the T2050 will be better by leaps & bounds over the Core Solo 1350

As for the Atheros 3945abg, that's aknown good wireless card, but there really isn't much difference between different wireless cards, and the absence of 802.11 a in the latter model wouldn't even be noticeable as I have never really seen a 802.11a network, and it's anyway provide for backward compatibility of the Atheors as 802.11 a was succeeded by g
