Hello guys,
I am a happy Tata Broadband customer since the past 4 years. Till November '10, I was on 256 U/L plan and I used to get a decent ping rate and 0 chokes and losses while playing CS:1.6. Now, in Nov '10, I called up the call center and told them to change the internet plan. Since the plan wasn't changed after 3-4 days, the s/w engineer came to my house and did it. At that time, he also replaced the yellow wire (LAN wire???) which connects the router to the CPU (in my case, to the Wi-fi). Since that day, I have been getting continuous chokes and losses while playing CS. About a month back, I upgraded to 1MBPS U/L but still have the same problem. What do I do? Is it because of some problem on their side, the wire is faulty or because I am using wi-fi? (I was using wi-fi even on 256 U/L, but didn't have any problems then). Any help will be appreciated
Here are a few specs:
OS: Windows 7 x86
Router: Zyxel
ISP: Tata Broadband
Speed: 1MBPS U/L
Wi-Fi: Netgear
Wireless card (CPU): Belkin.
SNR Margin & Line Attenuation: Check image below.
