Yes folks i wanna buy another GB of ram,& i want you to choose me a good one with a reasonable price :S ,something between 100 ~ 130 Euro :P

From where i buy?
From here [RANK="www.tweakers.net/pricewatch/cat/545/top"]www.tweakers.net/pricewatch/cat/545/top[/RANK]
(*Note the page is directly linked to memory, for homepage click on "tweakers.net" in the upper left bar,or "Buyers Zone" in the middle top bar for all prices) this site has the latest/cheapest price's in The Netherlands/Belgium/France/Germany ,sometimes it doesn't list all the countries, but this is where i buy my hardware,it's simple i look for the product i wanna buy & buy the cheapest.

My rig is here
Thanks in advance for your replies & advise!

Either this:
512MB x 2 (1GB) PC3200 DDR, CL2 (G.Skill, F1-3200PHU2-1GBZX)
or this:
512MB x 2 (1GB) PC3200 DDR, CL2 (Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2PT)

I have the latter in my rig. (the normal version not platinum - no diff other than the heat spreader color) Its pretty decent quality RAM based on Winbond CH-5. Will do really well(~240-250 @ 2-2-2-8 or so) if u supply it 3.3V+ but right now I'm limited to 2.8V cos of mobo.

Then its either Corsair CMX1024-3200 or GeIL PC3200 DDR CL3(GE1GB3200BSC). I'd take corsair over GeIL anyday. But as hardboy pointed out, to use dual channel, u need pairs of dimms else there'll be a major performance loss.

there isn't only one website in the world.

with intel don't think below dual channel

by the way with intel there may be 30%increase by dual channel,am i correct?

but with amd 939 how much performance diff?

I wanna buy another 1GB stick to increase my PC performance not to bring it down :S,as you might saw in my rig,i got 2 monitors & always have like 10~20 tabs open + plus downloading + Spamming with my mates on MSN :P + plus speaking to my gf trough Skype + Plus Winamp.

So what's your call on it folks?

Ok guys, the 1GB stick is not valid anymore after your replys & a good explantion from Mask on MSN (thnx mate ;) )
So should i stick with 2x512 Corsair micro value PC3200 & buy 2 more sticks, or should i go for a better 2x512 quality?

Ok guy's, i bought 2x512 Corsair micro value PC3200 ( € 130,30 :S ) which are exactly the same ones i have right now in my system,i was advised by many not to buy a different 2x512 then the ones i already have.

Thank you guy's for all the advise & help much appreciated :hap2:
Off-topic:

lol @ Mask,my bad :P

Decent choice... Actually it doesn't matter what brand or type the RAM is as long as you run all of them at the same SPD setting. (As long as they are the same capacity)

Here it is:

The new 2x512 Crosair PC3200

Before the upgrade, one stick was in the green slot & the other was in the purple slot.

After the upgrade.i moved the old stick next to the other old stick in the purple slot,& the new 2x512 in the green slots.

Any recommendation,as to leave them that way or replace the old ones in the green slot & the new ones in the pruple slot.

Or as the old configuration & just add 1 512 stick next to the old one in both slots?

Thnx in advance for your replys & advice!

U can leave it as it is. Since all the sticks have the same specs, it shudn't affect anything. :)

Edit:

Congratulations on ur 900th post.. :hap2:
