Thats a no brainer dude.Go for Sony ofcourse.Hope u get some sorta after sales service tho since its a grey market piece.

But i gotta suggest u to add another 10k or so and try to get a 32 inch LCD if possible.

i cant add a more money bcoz my parents wer considerin a 26 inch but now they incresed the budget a little and r plannin the 32 inch...so no chances of increasing the budget so just tell me out the videocon and sony U which one is better

Videocon Integra sucks........... period. Go have a look at it next to Likes of Hitachi and Sony and you will never buy that.

32U on the other hand should not be even on your shopping list. Its almost 2 year old model. In terms of LCD technology, its ancient.

Buy atleast 32S310 or hold on to your purchase a while longer until you can afford 32S310 ( grey market cost is 33-35k ). As simple as that.
None of these 2 models make any sense today.

but if i go for the panasonic in the grey market will what should i do if i get problems in the tv later...sony have many repair stations here so getting sony in grey wont b that much a problem. will repairing in panasonic give me any problems?

fyi lavi nach tani: a sony service centre would not touch a product unless u show them the sony india bill of the same. So wheter it has service centres or not does not make a difference as long as your buying from the grey market.

well i dont think so i bought a sony HI fi system which runs on 110v they still serviced it:P

r u sure u went to a company service centre?? i mean not like a authorised dealer/service guy who wud be interested in earning money?

and how long back was this?

cause iv had a couple of incidents regarding this .. with an amp and a cd player and the latest was with a psp.!

If i had an out of warranty/bought outside india/gray mkt product that needs to be fixed, I'd anyway not go to a company service center, but to an ASC instead for the simple reason that their customer service and costs would be better

As long as the repair center has access to spares that need replacement for the fix....

well i serviced mine about 8 months or so ago,not only this i had also serviced a sony CRT NTSC tv also which again was not sold in india .yes i mean the sony authorised service centres that rips us off with minimum charge:S even if a small capacitor is gone.

hehe..!! tas weird.. !

well anyways i did get my amp an cd playr repaired from a local electronics repair guy..

the psp needed special repair/ servicin an hence sent it to psp uk (iv gt a contact ther whos gonna get it repaired for free or gt me a new one (again free :>) )

well in tat case an lcd repair should not really be a problem aswel!

+1 to that. They have used the crappiest part possible. If you keep the integra on for 2+ hours, the power module heats up. This produces 'waves' in the screen & a loud hum from the speakers... :@ absolute crap. Better to buy a CRT than this.

If it's b/w integra & sony.. then sony it is. Personally, I really really like the samsung.
