Chrome's crackdown on ad blockers

Any major reasons why one wouldn't switch to something like Firefox instead of chrome? As someone who completely deggogled, I wouldn't even consider chrome but I am curious on reasons why others are sticking by it despite everything google has done.

Screw it, I'm switching.

Switched to Firefox after a decade and deleted Chrome! The import was smooth. It's WAY snappier, and (much) more privacy-focused.
