Hey, just got my dad a Nokia X3 and here is what I feel -

1. Display is excellent, better than any S40 phone out there.

2. Smooth slide.

3. Outstanding speakers and music quality.

4. Camera is average (3.2 MP).

5. I like the way it looks.

6. Many video formats supported.

7. Does not lag at all.

8. Build quality is decent.

Go for it, certainly better than any other options available at this time.

Also, the street price for the same is around 6.6k.

But there is a seller which is selling it for Rs.6365/- on ebay. Applied a 7.5% coupon and Rs.477/- was waived off.

The total I had to pay was Rs.5888/- including everything + a screen guard as a freebie.

what about the candy bar phone territory..

the X3 is good but heard that the slider and screen arnt as nice...

she once had the nokia 5610 and the music button clip just came off..

My friend just got 7230 for gifting and i hate it. ( Nope, it wasnt gifted to me.)

The fone is not a smart phone and secondly the phone isnt of a great built quality. I keep getting the impression that One decent tumble and it seriously might crack its metal look frame which is not metal btw.

The camera is mentioned as 2.0 and shouldnt be expected too much out of it but it really is bad. To supply a cam like this and not to provide atleast an LED flash is pure blasphemy..

it would have been a better phone if it was priced for sub 5k.. atleast then it would have been associated with That kinda perception.

If you want a phone for somebody who lacks the brains.. get this one. Or Better consider a 5130, atleast it doesnt fools with its exteriors and its pricing is good as well. Battery back up of 5130 is great i heard.

If you can increase the budget slightly, Choose Nokia C5 or Else X3 should be the obvious choice within ur budget.

Trust me, the slider and the display are very good. You wont regret.

how is the nokia 6303i ?? anyone with first hand experience?

how is it compared to the C5 (i own one)??

should i pay the extra above budget and go for C5 or get the 6303i

points to be noted: feel and ease of texting and build quality

Go for C5 it is much better than 6303
