OC & Modding CM Hyper Z600 Air Cooler - any one tried?

i've seen some reviews of it saying it's a nice cooler..

it'll cost you around 3.5k..

but,for that price i'll recommend NOCTUA NH-U12P SE2 - 3750/-..

also,it doesn't comes with any fans..
 
ofcourse NOCTUA wld be a better choice... better z600 comes as a gift :-D

ll get that cooler this weekend... ll try that and let me post its performance...

along wid fans on two sides, it shd weigh frm 1.2 - 1.5kg :hap2:
to hold this indeed the motherboard should be thick...

as i dont the retention brackets and the backplate for my cpu, i cldnt fix it :mad:

wondering whether i cld get just the brackets from any accessories or anyone else :-/

any idea?

With speculative comments like this, who needs physicists and theorists?

Ask question to your self, why do you even need a heavy cooler? If you want it to act as a weapon of self defense, you're better off with TRUE copper :p. If you are buying for show and all, there is a butterfly shaped hsf or there's always THOR. If you are looking for a good overall package, better off with noctua. You answer the question yourself, when you are getting a good stuff within India, what's the point in importing something else? If you really want heavy heatsinks, stick to True copper

Its 1366 and 1156. Don't get the socket type wrong or else you will end up with the wrong socket. Not all companies make kits and retention brackets, unlike noctua, TRUE, etc. Also, don't crap the forums :).
 
I'd be rather worried about motherboard, what with reading so many reviews about warranties getting void due to slight bend in motherboards. 1 Kg wtf.
 
^^ i agree with the weight... but come on, my frnd had been using it on her 650i ultra for 2months... also CM n520 weighs 1.4k gms without any fan... if todays boards can handle that, it can handle z600 as well but ofcourse machine shdnt be moved or shd be careful while moving it...

i found the bolt thru kit frm primeabgb...

not sure whether they do inter-country delivery or its just for mumbai alone...

also, can anyone suggest will this fit for mine...?
