PC Peripherals CM PSU warranty query

Hi actually this is a warranty query thread. I have purchased a CM 460W PSU from a TE member. He didn't had the cash invoice, but the purchase data was written on the PSU.

I think CM provided 3 yrs warranty, so can i avail warranty based on that written date or they need cash invoice for warranty.

cooler master PSUs has three types of warranty. Base models 2 yr, middle models 3 yr and higher models 5 year.

If its officially imported product (check product box) you can ship to the printed address to get RMA.
 
^^ i have nothing but the PSU with the purchase date written on it. Is it applicable for RMA in future
 
Do you have the Extreme Power Plus series one? I think it has only 2 years warranty. Even I'd like to be sure. :ashamed:
 
Dear Aditya,

The Extreme series power supply carry 2 years warranty. Yes you will need the Invoice when claiming RMA under warranty.

Dear Aditya,

Viralbug is right it derived your name from your username. What you quoted above is the Product Name not the Serial Number. The serial number will look something like "RP460PCAR0081312804". Get me your serial number; i'll check and report back whether the said product is in warranty or not.
