Is there a way to manually save in CoD4 or we have to rely only on checkpoints?

No manual save. Thats what happens when you get sloppy seconds from console versions.

^i wouldnt exactly call COD4 sloppy...and it was released on the same day for all systems...

you cant manual save but you can start the mission again from the mission select menu....i think its fine coz they are not that long
cod 2 had the same system

Yeh Cod4 is easy game and missions are small .

Thanks all... yep, with COD4 you don't really miss manual save option. so far reached the big round room in TV station (Charlie doesn't surf). yet of now, enemies are too many and too quick in this room for me :ashamed:
