Got this mail from Vinod today. I'd say that this is indeed a very good offer. That 1088AMG without the PSU costs atleast 6~7K.

also the cabinet design is same as the 1000amg except the size of the fans. great cabinet & really worth it for people who are planning on getting the dfi board.
 
well there is no usual to compare against. This is the first time we are getting these boards in India. And cost here is always out of wack anyway, this is not just for motherboard sor DFI, almost everything is prices higher than states here.
 
If I remember right, everyone here were very happy at the pricing of the SLI Infinity and the Ultra-D. Why the sudden difference in thought.
 
I am gonna buy the Lanparty UT Ultra-D soon, i dont want the cabinet, hope he give me some other offer :ohyeah:

If anybody is buying The DFI m/b (as mentioned in the letter of offer by Mr. Vinod) then i dont mind buying that case for 2650 + Tax.
if any TE member is buying the m/b's and does not need the case then PM me so that we can workout the logistics ......
 
Well, that's the official pricing. There are discounts on SLI-DR, RDX-200 and the Ultra-D for TE Members.

@deejay, Saiyan is likely to get one later this month. PM him or talk to him thro' messenger.

yeah I dont mind case for 2650 + tax.

how much discount do TE members get on the motherboard?
 
a lil OT : Just to remind u, the tax cud be as much as 10% (CST applicable when shipped to other states). Also, the shipping might cost quite a sum. :)
 
^^Naa it'll be 4.2% VAT i think... Unified VAT regime :P. They don't ship it anymore, u gotta buy from ur local disty.
 
^ I guess shipping costs as in for the person who buys the combo and is selling off the cabby ;)
The TX 1088 is heavy ! around 25 ~ 30 lbs. So would be ideal to buy it from someone who's getting it near your area.

yes masky i had factored in the tax and the shipping cost.
but i am sure Mr.Vinod can help in this regard by showing as stock transfer, internal transfer , or something (which minimises the tax + shipping burden) and i can collect the case from Mr. Gulbir of Prime AGBG, from his (prime) existing stock, if any, here in Mumbai. All Mr. Vinod will have to do is send Prime the delivery advice with the relevant credit note.

But the main thing is do we have any big-hearted TE member who is willing to buy the m/b's under this scheme ???????
