Completed Horizon Forbidden west - Now what ?

Also not counting the amount of money spent on the GPU alone. A decent GPU alone is almost equal or more than cost of an entire console.

Even i prefer the games on PC. but absurd cost of GPU and the sheer unavailability of good GPU ( really wanted 3060 Ti) led to me getting diverted to PS4. And i find it more economical in the long run.

I took a loan to buy a gpu while I need to repay it until next year. This is needed when we are using PCs but PS4 or XBOxs don't need to do such things.

I hope you give it another try, I had high expectation for it and it exceeded most of them. Try the Samurai class and invest in arcane, bleed builds are quite OP right now, look up ways to farm XP if you feel you are to under leveled.
Also try Hades if you haven't, very addictive gameplay.

Actually i am using Samurai class type B. I have played like 9 hours, at level 21 or so and already defeated the first boss - Margit. It's good but needs concentration and patience.

Well to name a few that i completed in the corona time (had plenty of time to kill ;)o_O)

1. Uncharted series
2. Tomb raider series
3. God of war
4. Prey
5. farcy 4,5 (tried 6 in the weekend trial and it was garbage as it same copy+paste of far cry 5)
6. Assassin's Creed origins & Odyssey (Odyssey was too long and repeated fetch quest)
7. Ghost of Tshushima
9. Borderlands 3
10. Dark Souls 1,2,3 ( absolutely hated some parts of DS3, 1 and 2 were good)
11. BLOODBORNE
12. SEKIRO
13. The last of us remastered and TLOU2.

WOW the list is pretty long. :p:p

A lot of well-known games you're probably well aware of could be good fits for this list, like Guardians of the Galaxy, Jedi: Fallen Order, Dishonored, The Division, Wolfenstein: The New Order, Spec Ops: The Line etc.

Some others, in case you might not have tried them, and if they seem interesting to you: Remember Me, Homefront: The Revolution, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break (the latter two are currently quite cheap on Steam). So many more still on my own backlog. :inpain:

There's also plenty of superhero games, third-person shooters and GTA-likes from the last two gens that still hold up alright, but I assume you'd be familiar with most of them.

Castle Wolfenstein was great at that time. And i was genuinely scared when they had zombies / undead type enemies. I was expecting it to be normal FPS when suddenly it turned into horror FPS. :)

Open RPG are massive time sinks. Most games are 50+ hours , while Most FPS are way much shorter.

True. I too find all these game variants like watching some animax channle. Not to disrespect game lovers just my personal choice I always stay away from such cartoonish/ unreal character world game no matter how great they are. I simply hate those bow arrows, horse riding, magic wand powers etc. Feels so kiddish...

I prefer true battle fps like cod/bf/moh/crysis etc. and simulation racing esp. cops in open world.

Even Borderlands 1,2,3 seems cartoonish but these games are so exciting to play.

But I like open world RPGs very much which can be modded and customized.

Many of those games are currently also available through the Xbox Game Pass for PC (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jedi: Fallen Order, Dishonored, Sunset Overdrive).

If you're nostalgic about Return to Castle Wolfenstein, then Wolfenstein: The Old Blood might be up your street.

Borderlands 1, while over the top in its own right, is actually quite gritty. It's 2 onwards that the series became actively cartoonish.

Started playing Jedi: Fallen Order .

This looks promising. Graphically it looks great. But i seem to be stuck so early in the game. Maybe I missed something or the other.

I am stuck in a room. With lots of fans and big orb in the middle. Now matter how hard I jump, i simply cannot reach the platform. I skipped though some screen prompts. Maybe I missed something critical.

It's full of puzzles like Tomb Raider needs all of patience to play.

But I like old places so like Tomb Raider series,
And I like cryptids so like Witcher Series,
And I like modding so like Skyrim Series

And Fallout Series, Stalker Series, Metro Series,

And I like Space exploration so like Mass Effect series

Have you played these above games man. I mean completed them.

Others come as in between all of the above or some of the above.

WITCHER and MASS EFFECT are one of my favourite games of all time. I have completed them several times on multiple consoles and PC. SKYRIM and tomb raider are also good.i also liked the mass effect Andromeda while most people critisized it.

Have to play fallout and stalker series. Just got FALLOUT 4 a few days ago for cheap. STALKER and METRO series is there in GOG account since eternity but i have not played yet.

Also figured out that we cannot access that part of the game (Jedi Fallen Order) yet. :p

You can try monster hunter rise if you have pc ,its great game with multiplayer elements,
Also look for ace combat 7 skies unknown, great game for jet fight

Not a fan of Monster Hunter or Ace Combat. Not my cup of tea.
And I don't play multiplayer either.

Thanks for your suggestion though.
