component av cable for ps2/ps3

I am looking for component av cable for ps2 and found one in ebay but it was not from SONY,,does this mean the quality will not be same as the original one??
 
yeah it wont be of the same quality but it will do the job as well,

i own one of those, though i didn't buy that from ebay,

ubt i'll wanna warn u that on CRT tvs, Pregressive Scan usually doesn't work,

unless u own an LCD tv or a plasma,

dont buy it

+ its available for under Rs. 250 on play-asia.com + free shippping,

if u can buy it from there as these people from ebay do the same most probably
 
I have 21" sony crt..and I think it will not support progressive scan..so without PS, using component av cable is not useful??will nt it increase the picture/color quality thn the current av cable??

I have buyed one svideo cable from playasia once..I have checked the site,, and found the Rs.250 component, but i dont think it will deliver the same as the original sony since which is gold plated..the original sony is costing 1,280 INR..I may go for it.

Dont waste more than 1k only on the cable,
you wont even be able to switch the PS on,
buy it from play-asia and remain happy,
and buy some original games with the money left :P

the picture is indicative,

most of the time thats not u get
 
yeah..any if i buy one i will get the original sony one only and i dont mind spending few hundreds more to get the best quality.

My concern is : what is difference in picture quality if I use component cable without progressive scan in compare to normal av cable
