Folks,
Seems like we are moving ahead with computing that is now out of the box and more shared, decentralized and moving across geographic regions. Google is on it, on the other Ghost Inc. has already come out with Ghost OS, a web based OS, that on the face of it may not be sufficient for gamers, but for those who would like to have expensive cpu cycles along with some mean storage at disposal for some time.
Cloud computing, I am myself trying to decipher, accumulate and see where its attacking, but computing as we see it is about to change. There is a strategy to move away from an OS that is bloated with utilities that may never be used to the one that is slim, trim and quite contrary to being generic, it would be essentially application specific.
