UPDATE: problem solved.( thanks @iosoft )
i was doing it all wrong, beetel configured to pppoe mode, asus in static IP mode = worked like a charm.

unfortunately i'm back to airtel again :(

I have an rarely used Beetel 110BXI which i got from airtel while taking their connection first time.
Trying to configure that with ASUS 13u, but no success.

below are the steps i did for setting it up
Configuration in Beetel 110Bx1 Modem:

1) Configured Bridge mode, Advance Setup --> LAN, set the VPI/VCI value to 1/32, mode set to bridge.

Configuration in ASUS RT-N13U

1) mode set to IP sharing mode.
2) in WAN, set as PPPoE & provided the username/password of airtel.

Internet not working, the LINE & DATA light of beetle is not glowing at all.
What i'm going wrong, im not able to figure that out. please help. im out of touch of networking/routers now.
can someone link me with a step by step guide which i can follow to get it work.

Thanks in advance.

If the line light is down, either your modem is bust or there is something wrong with your DSL line (have you checked the splitter)
Your modem page show your line link state as showtime - If the line light itself is down, it most probably isn't a configuration issue
