Configuring Wifi for two floors

My friend going BSNL BB Connection. Wants to have wifi for two floors, each floor with 3 rooms. How is the below config;

1. Ground Floor with Modem cum Wifi Router will taken care by the below
Asus DSL-N10E | Router | Flipkart.com

2. First Floor with just wifi Router by the below

Asus RT-N10E | Router | Flipkart.com

If both connected by LAN Cable will this work ?

It will Work, and you can also setup the second router as a repeater , then you wouldn't have to connect the routers via LAN.
