Monitors Confused b/w Samsung & Dell LCD

Within a week i'll buy a 22" or 24" lcd but confused between samsung and dell.......please suggest best one..if possible explain the cons & pros of both please(hdmi,dvi,etc.,).................

Budget is 10k max....HD movies and gaming......

Stat your purpose and approx budget for monitor. That will help filter out many options.

However, if you are looking for general usage like movies and light gaming, you won't require high response time, it that case

1) DELL S2409W (12.5-13K) is a good option.

And if you are looking for some good response time and high contrast ratio for working with apps like photoshop or 3DMax

2) DELL U2311H (13.5K) is good options.

I am using Dell 20" - S2009W. I use it for Watching movies and gaming.. This one is pretty good one..

If you are looking for 24" you can check this model ST2410 Wide HDMi / DVI. You can get that for about 12.5k..

^Exactly and cramping full HD resolution into a 22incher won't make sense IMO.

i would vouch for samsung. Choose samsung B2230. They are really good in LCD's.
