Hey there guys,
I am currently looking forward to buying a 1 tb hdd for storing data from my laptop..
I wanted suggestions on whether i should go for an external hdd or buy an internal hdd and a good casing..

for 5000 bucks i think WD Home Edition has a 1 tb external hdd and also there is one under Seagate Free agent.. but i think buying an internal hdd with a good casing might be economical

Am looking out for suggestions.. please mention specific model numbers also if you could :D

Thanks

Dude Buying an internal will cost you around 4.2K+ and for Good casing it wud be around 1200 + so totals to 5400.... :S man you can get a Seagate 1 TB external for around 4.3K with a 15% discount coupon from EBay its a bargain go get it and one more thing Seagate has 5 Yr warranty and WD has 3 yr on there external Drives :D

how about buying a hdd dock and then an internal hdd :p to backup data.. i wont be using it full time .. so i dont have to keep using the dock 24 7 .. also that discount coupon thing is a bit tempting but i have heard seagate drives dying on their users within a year
