Laptops Confused laptop or netbook

I an confused whether to get a netbook or a entry level laptop
budget is 30k will use it for basic computing
do help me out here guys
 
What kind of work do you plan to do with the laptop/netbook? IMHO, if you need portability and do not require much powerful machine, and can live with small screen size, you should go for a netbook. But if portability is not a concern, laptop would be a better choice.
 
Music..movies and for downloads
for netbook i wanna go with asus e1000h
can any one suggest of a good entry level laptop

There is asus 904h ----config intel mobile processor,1 gb ram,80gb hdd,wi-fi,spkr,mic,web cam 9'' screen 1.25 kg weight 7hr battery backup,window xp licence pre loaded--------20000/- +4% tax @computer zone s.p.road
asus 1000H------24500/-+tax 4%extra
 
IMO, doesnt make sense to go for those small screens if extreme portability is not an essential requirement..put 5-10k more and get something decent..

At 10k these netbooks make sense, any more moola and you'l find them wayy too limited for anything other than normal, simple usage..

Sachi?? i thot 720p also lags a bit on Netbooks... u mst be toking abt some btr config of netbook...nice
