I bought a Belkin G router. I've installed it properly.

I can access internet on my desktop as well as on my laptop via lan cable, even simultaneously both are working.

But the problem is when I connect my laptop to the router via wireless, it connects but shows No Internet Access :S

I've no idea about networking and I'm clueless what to do?

Searched a lot on internet but I really couldn't understand how to resolve this.

Any help?

I'm also facing the same problem. I tried connecting the router with my mobile but my mobile repeatedly saying that "no Wifi ap found" :(

I'm keeping my mobile very near to the router, even though I'm getting the same error message. Can somebody enlight us?

^^ Thanks a lot brother for sparing your valuable time on gtalk, and guiding me to resolve the issue.

Problem was resolved by making clone of my desktop MAC address for the router and by avoiding dialing from PC, now the router itself dials and connects to internet.

Thank you Konquerror! So, I should use both the router and my modem to get connected, right?
Yes, modem will connect to your ISP ...and router will distribute the internet...

The problem was that Parv's ISP aloows only MAC addresses registered in their database...so i told him to clone the MAC of his PC to router...then I asked him to set up PPPoE connection as his ISP used username/Password for authentication...and what he was doing wrong is that after connecting to router he was dialing up from PC...so internet was available on that PC only...not on Laptop...i aksed him not to dial up from PC...because dialling was done was done by router itself...that's it...

^Still problem persists :(

I connected both the modem and router. Now, I turned the wi-fi on my mobile and it searched for some seconds, and still says that no "wi-fi ap found" :(

(The mobile is Samsung Lindy M5650)

Yes. I configured it and I entered a password for router (I mean, Belkin) and still my mobile is not able to connect it. :( Can I reset the wi-fi settings on my mobile or can I reset the router to its default settings?

Well can you try with a laptop...if it's not detecting the wi-fi then there might be some problem with router....

:clap:Finally the problem solved! Called the BSNL customer care on Monday and they came today! They changed some settings in the modem and now it WORKS!!

The wireless range is quite good (at least for the price I paid for!). I can browse on the 3rd floor where the router is placed in the 1st floor :)

Thanks a lot for your valuable inputs Konquerror!
