I have built a rig with Core i-5 3550 with Gigabyte GA B75 mother board and Asus HD 6670 1GB DDR 5 graphic card.
I have a Benq G 2222HDAL 21.5-inch monitor which is connected to the port ( I think dual display port) as shown in the picture with an adapter.
I'm about to buy a 27-inch Korean monitor with no extra connectivity. (Basic model).

My question is where do I connect it ?

PS : When I 1st connected my monitor to the blue color port in the mother board ( It did'nt work : " No signal detected message showed up " ) , I called the guy who assembled and got to know that I can connect any monitor only to the ports in the graphic card and ports on the monitor are useless for me.

I asked him about this issue and he told me to buy a HDMI adapter ( none of the monitors have HDMI in them). My benq monitor has only D-sub port and the korean monitor has only dual link dvi. I read somewhere that adapters don't work with these Korean monitors.
Is my only option to buy a Korea monitor with HDMI connectivity?

I have attached photos of ports in the mother board along with those in the graphic card. Please give me a solution.

Thanks

PS : How do I attach pics with bigger sizes ? It gets shrinked like this everytime

@GODMODE09 do you want to use the monitors from the graphic card output OR from the motherboard output?

You will need a converter to use the HDMI ports OR as you said you can get the HDMI version of the monitor as well.

P.S. -- photos will keep getting downscaled to prevent excess usage of bandwidth, for larger pictures upload them to tinypic and then post here. Cheers!

I dont think a B75 Gigabyte has Lucid Virtu which allows you to use both onboard and graphics card together. But you can still try this.

So when PC is Booting Press Delete key > The goto peripherals > Goto Init Display First and set the mode to PEG Sets the PCI Express graphics card on the PCIEX16 slot as the first display (This ensures that your display goes to PCIex as primary boot). So connect your primary monitor to the graphics card.

Then goto Internal Graphics. Remove Auto and Enable it. Then your onboard should be enabled and signal can go there.

Since you do not have your other display yet the motherboard is in auto I think it detects the PCIex graphics are and sends the signal there. Better to try it out once.

Also if you want your primary from Internal motherboard port. Set the Init Display to IGFX Sets the onboard graphics as the first display.

I want to just use both monitors. I read somewhere that these Korean monitors won't work with adapters. ( It needs to be directly connected to the dual link dvi port.)
I guess I can buy a D-sub to (maybe HDMI? ) for the benq monitor? Can I do that even if the monitor does'nt have HDMI in it?
So that Korean monitor will be plaugged into dual link dvi port in the graphic card and benq monitor will be connected to the DMI port through adapter ?
Right?

Thanks

Yes, you can do so (use the BenQ monitor with the converter) and the Korean panel from the dual-link DVI port.

Now I know, why the monitor needs the dual-link DVI, because of the higher resolution on offer vis-á-vis HDMI OR D-SUB.

Thanks.
I see some of the connectors are'nt compatible with PCs?
Is this one good? GOLD 1.5M HDMI MALE TO SVGA VGA M CONVERTER A/V CABLE | eBay

There is another one a bit more expensive.
19 Pin HDMI Male to 15 Pin VGA HD Male Converter Cable Realy Original 100% Money | eBay

If you know any other make or model that has good reputation , please give me a link. I want to buy a good quality one that is also Value for money

^^ Don't know about the compatibility of all brands because I myself do not use HDMI cables on my RIG.

Both the cables you have linked seem to be the same nameless-Chinese brand-mass-produce, so both are equally good to me. Go for whichever allows you to get a refund if the product fails / isn't compatible on arrival.
