Dear people,
I've been looking for a provider to connect different databases with each other. I am currently working with InfluxDB to store all the data I use for my smart home.
I prefer to work with an external database so that in case of a server failure I don't have to program everything from scratch.
But InfluxDB is getting too small for me now and the functions are not what they used to be. That's why I thought about connecting InfluxDB with PostgreSQL using Aiven as a provider. This way I can store my data on InfluxDB and have a backup there, so I always have a security, on the other hand I can continue working on PostgreSQL.
What do you say, would you use this cloud based provider?
