Storage Solutions Connecting internal HDD to lappie

I have internal desktop sata hdd. What are ways to connect it to lappie ?

my lappie has esata and usb [no firewire ]

use a sata-to-usb converter

Get a HDD casing from ebay for around 800 bucks and use your HDD in that. Or, buy a HDD dock and use that.
