I'd never thought of myself as much of a console gamer, but a few weeks ago, i got to play on a PS3 with a sixaxis contoller , and was hooked.

fact 2. Dad's got a brand new rig with a 19" ws monitor , and I've started getting used to lying in bed and playing NFSUG2 with the wireless keyboard. however, the keyboard is simply too large to be used comfortably, and I'd love it if there was some sort of controller (preferably wireless) for pc.

do these things exist ?

and how much do they cost ?

will they work with games like NFSUG2 etc

and i plan to use them to see if the console gaming thing is a good idea

just checked and it looks like its out

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/productdetails.aspx?pid=090

but i doubt its availability

yeah even i saw that a couple of days back.. and in the Features it says 'PC and XBox 360' so guess it works on both.. And its branded as "Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows"

Edit: The controller itself is $50 but you need to buy the 'Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows' separately which costs another 19$!!! But both are available as a combo on Amazon for $59.. Amazon.com: Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows: Video Games

Get the XBOX controller for PC (I have it and use it to play NFS and Xpand rally) its available for 1400 at hyderabad.

IIRC, Logitech had something. Let me look.
Edit:

logitech has the wireless rumblepad series or something just look into their website.. its shaped exactly like the ps2 controller so ull be comfortable with tht...but if u can get the 360 controller.. since most of the new console ported games are coming mapped directly with the 360 controller...
