Hi peeps,
So i have been jumping from one phone to another in the last couple of weeks and the only gripe has been that contacts don't sync very well, when i change paltforms.
I had all my contacts synced to gmail coz i was using Android, but then when i shifted to iPhone the contacts didn't get imported properly.
Now i am thinking of giving a try to HP webos(Pre3) and Symbian Belle(N8).
So can anyone suggest me the best way possible to backup my contacts in such a way that they appear in exactly the same manner across paltforms.
For ex - in gmail i had stored my friends mobile nos according to the city they were in, but when i imported them to iPhone, it wasn't showing phone numbers at all and those who had 1 no as mobile and not the city name that i had assigned to it.
Is there any windows software or do outlook contacts show up on phones in exactly the same way across all platforms.
I am ready to give 1 whole day to setting up my contacts manually on my computer, if they can then be imported to phones with exactly the same descriptions across all platforms, whether it is Android, Symbian, WP or iOS.
