Can I control my PC from a Nokia n73 or 5800 (through bluetooth) as I can do using my Sony ericsson walkman phone's 'Desktop reomte control'

For N73, you can use Salling Clicker. Its an awesome software...

Mobile Witch Bluetooth Remote Control (freeware) - basic, no frills type.

All the above are java softwares, meaning you can use it on any nokia S40 mobile also. Because you have a Symbian phone, I'm sure there are several other symbian applications for you..
