Controller for Fifa 2008

Now me and my friends have started playing Fifa 08 in our hostel . Now we used a friends controller temporarily but its busted too bad , so are thinking of dutching in and buying a new descent one . So please suggest a nice one , below 1k , for the same .

bugger.. what dutching wutching.. get a x360 for 1.3k odd.. or if the budget is REALLY tight then get a asus xcitepad or logitech rumblepad for arnd 1k.
 
what do u mean what dutching........lol......have to save every penny right , and around 3 guys are gonna use it , so dutching....will look into the logitech or asus , is the xbox really worth it ? we gonna use it only for around 6-7 months.

sell it after 6 months on TE.. you'll find tonnes of ppl ready to buy it.

i'm mentioning the xbox only coz there are soooo many ppl that have it. nd 1300/3 is barely 400odd bucks :bleh:

Difference is the Dual Analog sticks..Which are used as Trick Sticks in FIFA, and to change plays....
 
if you are getting this for cheap, remember to get a set of rechargeable batts along with it.

other than its battery requirements, this thing rocks :)
 
...ya I use my DiGi Cams betterys which are rechargeable...

And yes you need to replace them more often, long gaming sessions take up a lot of Juice..

Why I prefer the normal ones than this one from my gaming is because this thing becomes heavy with battries compared to the normal one,

I am just more comfortable with the corded one.

u can also take a look at the zebronics ZEB 50JP.used to play fifa along with my friends in college! played fifa 05 to fifa 07 with one joypad. we had to buy a new one for fifa 08. the last time i picked up one of these for Rs.500. must be around the same price or cheaper now. check it out incase you are tight on cash!

A question to guys who have used it, dont the keys look a bit cramped and difficult to maneuver through ?
 
^^if you can arrange some CF bridges for the ATi48xx and we have a trade :)

I will be in Mumbai on the weekend so a DropOff/PickUp Trial too is fine :)
