Controlling Transmission using android

There are several other apps to atorrent , Remote Transmissions and others.

Why do you need a thread for this ?

Not sure if you are aware of , but Transmission-Daemon comes with a cute Web Interface that can be controlled via any device that has browser. On Linux it comes with its own package , transmission-daemon.

Anyways we have this thread open, wanted to ask how do these clients connect to interface of transmission (in case of Asus N13 B1)

Do you have to find out IP address of your modem everytime before connecting ?

Offtopic, for IOS, you can check the icontrolbits and iTransmission2.

if you are connecting locally you can have static ip.
if you want to connect it from internet then use dynamic dns in dd-wrt. then you will get a host name which will remain same even though ip address changes.
checkout dd-wrt wiki.
