Convert dts to ac3 in Divx avi

Hello

I have a music video divx file (1280*720) with dts audio. How can I convert the audio from dts to dolby digital.

Why do you want to convert it? Ur receiver/amp doesn't support dts?

Just use AC3Filter to decode either of them and if ur receiver doesn't support any of them, then don't do passthrough
 
You'll have MASSIVE quality loss when encoding from DTS to AC3. AC3 is a prehistoric format and is not suited for encoding anything short of lossless source files. At the most encode from DTS to MP3 for stereo or AAC for 5.1. If you have a DTS decoder filter installer like AC3Filter, then you can use AVIDemux to keep the source video and mux it with re-encoded audio.
