PC Peripherals Cooler Master GX650 query

a friend of mine got a Glacial Power 600W PSU around 6 months ago.

since he had given it 2 times for replacement. recently he gave it for the 3rd time, the distributor says he cant find a replacement as it is no longer available in the market.

now the distributor is recommending to pay rs.500 extra go for Cooler Master GX 650.

now he's wondering if the cooler master gx 650 is a good psu as there are mixed reviews over the net stating that at higher power loads he noise levels are just too much.

anyone here used the above PSU and can comment about the noise levels??

any other suggestions are also appreciated...

Been using GX550W !! No noise levels till now !! Many reviews about the products are under intensive testing under extreme conditions and the noise levels will be hardly 1 or 2 dB different from their rivals !!

Rather putting up this way i would suggest you mention the config so that people can help you !!
