Seems to have popped out of nowhere. Did'nt notice it getting launched, so posting it here. Seems like a very nice alternative to the CM690.

just dint seem like your usual suspect case review sites :P bit-tech, techpowerup, hexus, etc..
 
I hope some company comes up with an affordable aluminium case with decent cooling feature.
 
Nice case, but at that price... CM690 still rulez.

Offcourse if one can get this under 3k then it makes sense as good CM690 alternative under budget. :)
 
^^ Why may i ask?

CM690 & RC500 are targeted at different end users. The CM690 is for the user that desires Bling+Good Cooling while the RC500 is for someone who likes understated looks+silence. I don't see how they can compete against each other at all.

Personally, i REALLY like the way this case looks.

I'm not talking about looks. CM690 is really not that bling-bling case out of the box IMO. In fact I prefer subtle looks over bling-bling and alien look cases (eg. I like ATC840 over HAF-whatever case).

I was talking about overall cooling, space and VFM. In my experience, CM690 is quite silent with packaged fans, plus some smart re-arranging of packaged fans can result in good airflow.

I was comparing Sileo and CM690 by pricing. CM690 is more spacious (524mm depth and 480mm height against 480mm depth and 432mm height of Sileo), better airflow and looks decent (unless you got one with that stupid design side-window). Not to mention, bottom-mounted PSU... I know it's subjective, but I've just grown to like it that way. When you're getting all these features at same price, it just makes more sense to get CM690... that's all.

Like I said, I really like this case... but I would prefer a price-point justifying it. 4k price just for added sound dampners doesn't cut it, sorry, but that's what I feel. If at 3k, it is really a nice buy.

Oh... and by the way, it's Sileo (not Selio). :bleh:

agree to that part.....cm690 isn't bling-bling...if so y do ppl go for case mod-transparent sidepanel:P
at 4.5k this case is not at all attractive....perhaps that's y it didnt catch an eye yet
 
something else i just noticed.. amarbirs latest list of cm cabbys.. it has the cm690 listed for 4700/- nd the one with transparent side panel for 5100/-

Is it only amarbir who has hiked rates or have rates all around gone up coz of new stock coming in?

My dealers Were Fedup Of Me Selling And Lower Rates ,I Still Have Great Prices ,You Could Pm Me Have a List of The Same in Dealer Area And PM Me ,Of Course You Could Take from Prime Too Gulbir Jee is a Great Guy IMHO .
