Cooler Master unveiled its newest gaming mid-tower case, USP 100(RC-P100-RKR1).Built-up in steel with frontal panel in plastic, this new Cooler Master case is an enthusiast ready mid-tower chassis with an integrated 550W Extreme Power Plus power supply. USP 100 is a fully featured performance solution without the high-end price tag.

USP 100 offers a no compromise interior including many popular innovations from Cooler Master high end chassis.It measures 214 (W) x 483 (H) x 508 (D) mm, weights 7.2 kg.It features four 5 ¼†bays, one 3 ½†external bay, four 3 ½†internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards, tool-less mechanism for drives installation, hole for accessing the backplate from the CPU cooler on the motherboard tray and meshed cover bays. As for cooling, this case comes with a 120-mm frontal fan with LED (1,200 rpm, 19 dBA) and supports installation of 80/90/120-mm optional fans on the bottom, rear and side panels.


USP 100 combines a spacious, high airflow chassis with a quality 550W power supply.The new tower is equipped with an Extreme Power Plus power supply which can provide 550W of continuous power, features a rather low efficiency of around 70%, a MTBF (mean time before failure) of 100,000 hours, and is cooled off by a 120mm spinner.

Taking cues from enthusiasts, the USP 100 is factory painted in crimson. Using proven all mesh front panel design, the USP 100 provides enhanced airflow to keep internal temperatures minimal. Front air filters increase dust management while reducing system maintenance. A hidden power button, red themed LED front fan, and crimson LEDs add a bold and edgy flair to any system.

Availability
The USP 100 will be available Q1 2010 in North America, Canada, Mexico and Latin America. USP 100 with Extreme Power Plus 550W power supply will be available at a suggested market price of $99 USD. Other markets availability and pricing may be different.
 
And a side panel. The CPU retaining hole is nice for changing HSF back plates. But..sigh...its not full-ATX. Nevertheless..nice design.
