I bought a Hyper 48 HSF from SMC New Delhi a couple of months back paid 2500/-. Was quoted 3100/- in Mumbai :(

I bought 2 frm chennai...2900/- quoted got @ 2750 bcoz bought 2, bought in December

The SMC retailer in Mumbai has always been expensive.

I suppose you must have got a trade discount :)

If you plug the original supplied Delta fan into a 3 pin header on the MoBo it rotates only at 1400RPM - if you want this to go to its MAX RPM I have the mod for that.
 
Well As of now no Hyper 48/Hyper 6+ are in stocks as of now... And if anybody wants them post here... I can get a special discount for TE members :)...

yeah read abt that, 1 fan is on a 2.4HT rig (the one that'll get the axe when Pentium D comes) the other is on P4 660 @ home....

tell me carefully (the mod) as I'll tell my stupid cuz @ home (not on TE thanksfully) to do it. you could PM it 2 me

They are pretty small and cramped. The build quality ain't very special either.

Ok, thanx. Maybe i should then stick with Antec then..:no:

But looking at the Cavalier the dimensions shown on the web seem pretty big. 500x202x435 (D x W x H) is the size given.. Btw, do these come with a 120 mm fan or are they optional??
