Honestly, its easy to say things.

In such situations, 90% of us will be shit scared to even go nearby. And out of rest, 90% wont know what to do. And looking at uncensored video, if they had tried to move him in that condition without on field treatment, he would have died either way.

The thing that sucks the most is not the people's inability to do something here. With his injuries and guts pouring on streets, none of those people could have saved him. Its the lack of emergency medicine and on field paramedical facilities that saddens me :(

Agreed.....The condition wont have saved him seeing all the flesh coming out.....I agree I myself cant stand to blood or body flesh even a rat run over by car makes me feel nauseating ....

But feels sad no one comes to help people and all

Its like Shripad said. There's no emergency medical care like in US or other countries.

Also the bystander effect is common cause people get numbed in senses and don't act after seeing someone beaten or see accidents almost everyday.

i saw the video it is very sad one cause bloody Indian tamilnadu government suck big time they dont help me cause i have some hearing impatient for special new job and business

so any way i am move out of the country damn it is getting worst and corrupt due to all ministry

There was a similar tragic incident that occured in some state in india. The man was young & he was farmer, he was fighting for his land that was taken over by politicians. That land was his only way of putting food on table for his family. It was said that he was against this for a long time before the case broke out in front of media. There was a gathering & he came as there were politicians, police & people. He had a medium size can of petrol threatening that he would burn himself if they did not take any action over this. He threatened them, nobody would move, he poured petrol over him, police, camera man & his crew, reported were watching but no one stopped him for doing what he was doing. He burnt himself there, right where People, Politician & Media was witnessing this horrid event. He Died & everyone watched & left.

^ its just another reality show now to people. until it affects them all remain quite. when it affects them, they expect lot of people to help them, then realize that no one will come forward to help when its too late. useless place. this is what happens when people get too selfish and self centered.

Exactly.

Narendra Modi has to be commended for recognizing this very real need and starting the specially equipped rapid deployment emerygency ambulance services in Gujarat.
No matter how big a communist scum he might be, the man knows his administration.

I totally agree with 6pack .. either people have become selfish and self centered or this is one more sad example of Bystander effect

What Shripad says also correct but unless one try to save him ... how can one even claim that he would have died either way :@ ... unless one is GOD or DEATH itself

Emergency medical services in USA or other contries are no doubt better than India but they are no GOD ... It's a simple TRY that saves the life .. which didn't seem to happened here and same case is applicable to the farmer's case posted above.

Even BEST medical services avaialble in India ... but who get the advantage of that ... instead of that police man if that bloody cheif minister was injured that definately he would have got saved :@

One more example ... this thread itself has more than 150 views but see how many of them have commented

Is this guy for real? He's pushing his moronic agenda where some policeman died...no one cares about your goddamn business or your plans to leave India brother, keep it for another thread.

The Bystander effect quoted earlier is interesting, it states the more the bystanders the less likely they are to do anything as they watch others and react accordingly. Now if this theory is true then it would not matter where in the world you were, the effect would be the same.

I was discussing this effect with a friend and it was remarked that if more ppl are in trouble then they tend to help each other, say a flood or a fire. If more ppl experience the same danger then they cooperate. But if its just the one guy then nothing gets done.

It seems counter-intuitive in a way, as you woudl think the more ppl there are the higher the chances that someone that might be able to help increases. The theory is just that, nothing established to date that shows either way whether it holds all the time.

^ its more like they wait thinking that someone else will step forward to help. when everyone thinks like that then no one comes forward to help. in their minds the good ones might think, i'll give a hand if someone else comes forward. the rest think they will get into court trouble or other shit if they go to help. this country is like that. the people who help get fcked hard the most.

^ Well said.. this happens more than often. I've heard horror stories of guys who help the victim getting entangled in some kind of problem.. It's like close your eyes, ears and mouth and just walk away.. makes me feel ashamed of myself anytime I have to do that :|

This was no good :(. No matter whatever excuses people come up with bystander effect, getting tangled with police afterwards, landmines on the road, the poor cop at least deserved the back seat of the car to die on instead of on the road.

Read in the paper today, he was confused with some other cop who had been targeted, the guy was killed mistakenly.

Nothing needs to be said about politicians though, all of them scum everywhere, India has adapted to accept them as they are. But the guy doing the video recording & bystanders surely need an a$$ kicking, never mind the bystander effect.

means there's something bad waiting to happen to anyone anywhere in the world who tries to do something good...
