Copying whatsapp data from Android to iphone

This is most irritating thing when switching between android and iphone. There is no proper way to do it. There are some third party paid softwares that can do this though.
But I know whstsapp was working on a way to make it happen natively but seems progress on that is not great.

There is indeed a proper way to do it, Both the below softwares works had used both to transfer what's app from Android to IOS and from IOS to Android.

2.https://mobiletrans.wondershare.com/whatsapp-transfer-backup-restore.html

Also samsung already did it, one can transfer Chats from IOS to Fold/Flip 3 without the need of any tool or paid softwares though as of now it's limted to fold and flip 3 only.

When I said proper way I meant free way, I guess the softwares you linked are both paid right?
 
In iPhone I can see one option in settings ->Chats as "Move Chats to Android".
Don't see similar in Android device though.

Who? Dr. Fone or mobile trans?


For me (Windows) its 22$ for Dr.Fone and 30$ for Mobile trans 1 year license.

Hello,
How can I WhatsApp backup data from Android device to IOS, have seen the app 'wutsapper' but its charing amount of 1700 per year which I don't think is feasible as I only backup for one time. Any other alternative ways for free, please suggest??
