Corby Pro GPS Not working

i Just purchased the corby pro , activated the gprs and mms facility. However the GPS applications refuses to work. the software seems to install and then says " downloading failed".
Any of you guys are facing the same problem. If you are able to make it work kindly let me know.
Other applications like the google maps is working fine.
 
it might b bcoz of the slow GPRS speeds in india.. this sux to d core..

even i have been facing these problems..
 
1. use some other network and see if the phone gps works fine
2. try an alternate location and see if the network connectivity is good.
3. take it to a samsugn service center and ask them to fix it - in case they cannot - ask for a replacement.

Samsung mobile phones do faces these problems. This is the reason why Nokia has an upper hand as far as GPS phones are concerned.

I found two reasons for this. Either the network problem or the in-built GPS software is not working well.

I suggest you to get the softwares updated and if that doesn't work too ask Samsung Service Center if you can use other GPS software or GPS maps irrespective of the inbuilt one.

One of my friend is using HTC and his GPS works quite well. When I searched I found that phone is using SatGuide's software and maps.
