PC Peripherals Cordless phone for 2k

I have to buy a cordless phone guys....but i have no idea about its technicalities :S
Now usually when i buy tech stuff, i just run down to the shop and buy what the salesguy suggests :ashamed:
But this time i thought i'd ask the techies of TE :thumb:

Please help...my budget is around 2k...

they are all 2.4GHz and I have seen two of them & have used one of them.
