Hi, my friend has ASUS P5B MX (wifi) motherboard, he is using a P4 CPU right now with a 533MHZ 512MB RAM.
He wants to use Windows 7, so can you guys help us out here with CPU & RAM selection.

As per that CPU support list, only e4xxx & e6xxx series are supported.
Nowadays, its nearly impossible to find e6xxx & e4xxx series, so will the Core2Duo E7500 or Intel Pentium E5500 2.8GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Dual-Core Desktop Processor work on this board?
NOTE: e7500 has FSB of 1066, but the board supports that FSB under OC only.
& which 2GB RAM Dual Channel DDR2 667/533 to buy?

+he wants to buy a new FULL HD LCD, is it advisable to just sell this whole setup & buy a new setup. (AMD X3 setup?)
