21-30k Core i3 laptop with 25-30K

Guys pls suggest.

Also, pls. suggest will there be any perceptible difference between AMD Quad core and Intel core i3 for my above mentioned works? AMD quad cores are cheaper than i3.

Also, I have a Samsung Pentium dual core laptop (4 years old) 15.6" screen, 3 gb RAM , 250GB HDD. Everything is working good except the backspace key and webcam.

Snapdeal has a buyback offer where they are offering 5K for the laptop if I buy a new one from them. Is it a good deal or can I get better value from market (Nehru Place)?
 
Get the Dell Vostro 3446 14" i3 with Optimus 820M for 28K on Amazon. It wont come with Windows - thats your call. If you want Windows, there is a 15" Vostro 3546 minus the 820M for 30K with W8.1. Or the 3446 with W8 is 32K. Its your final call.

As for 5K for the laptop - depends. If it can play HD videos and is good enough for basic productivity, replace/clean the keyboard (dont bother with webcam) and sell to someone who will pay at least 5K- this ensures that you are not dependent on SnapDeal.

I would stay away from SnapDeal - its not my first preference. With the excellent services from Amazon - it has taken first place in my buy list.

I don't need windows. I have both licenced copies of Win 7 and 8 installed in this laptop (courtesy ACM) I will format the drive before selling and reinstall the windows in the new machine.

However, I'm in look for 15inch screen for watching movies. Also, regarding Dell I was reading that it is that good like the old Dell :( .
Any suggestion with 15.6" screen w/o windows around 25 K?
Flipkart also has a buyback program and they are offering 5K.

How are the build quality of Asus and Acer?
