PC Peripherals CORSAIR CX430 V2 430W or SeaSonic S12II 430 430W

Hi
I came across both the PSUs.
Advantage over SeaSonic S12II 430 430W is it carries 5years warranty where as CORSAIR CX430 V2 430W comes with 3 years warranty.

Price is also nearly same only Rs.300 extra for seasonic.

Please comment which one is better for a rig for general home purpose.

Definitely Seasonic if you can afford it and since you are in a metro RMA shouldnt be an issue too. Rs.300 more for a better PSU with efficiency and ~67% more warranty duration! Go for the Seasonic unit eyes closed.
 
OP sorry for hijacking your thread.

Even i am in same confusion regarding which one to choose?.How is the A.S.S of seasonic??. The only reason i am biased towards corsair is for their amazing A.S.S.

5/3*100 -> 166.67. So it has 66.67% more warranty then the corsair unit. (1.67 times)

Other way around then the Corsair unit offers just 60% warranty period compared to the Seasonic unit. Simple math.

How did it become 40%! Its 40% if the Seasonic had 4.2 years warranty to Corsair's 3 years.
