Re: help ! corsair flash voyager gt !^gb broken !

^Uh? How come? :O

The USB pin must be soldered to the small circuit board no? I mean those 4 contacts on the USB pin.

Re: help ! corsair flash voyager gt !^gb broken !

RMA seriously what did you do to that thing did your dog chew it off or something :bleh:. I think Corsair will RMA it, I got my standard 16 GB replaced after the PCB came loose off the rubber sheath :). And I gave it after 6 months when I got the bill so 99% chances they'll treat this as same bruv do get back and share what those guys said if RMA Why if not Why?

Re: help ! corsair flash voyager gt !^gb broken !

i did not do anything serious to it !

it was just so rubbery so i kinda ws pushing and here and there ! lol :P

i know how it sounds but it wsnt like tht ! lol

i hope i get a new 1 !

in the rma reason ive written broken out of the box ! lol :P

It would indeed be gr8 is Corsair honors Warranty for such heavy damage. All the best mate. Be a bit more careful with the drive next time.

If you want to battle with your drive, I would suggest you get the Corsair Flash Survivor Drive!!!

:P

Just do this and RMA it :P they wont know whats wrong. If they ask say its dead :P Act Stupid

sorry for fooling around yesterday!!!

afaik corsair is much better with warranty. just take it to the service centre. it's mostly a build problem bcos these drives don't go down so easily like this. I'm sure they'll replace this just fine.

a number of times I have pulled the entire rubber casing itself out leaving the bare drive still in the port thanks to the uber tight USB ports in my inspiron :P

so they are very strong generally.

@nehaladsul

lol thanks man

Dude dont worry they will replace it w/o a question thats what happened to me... have another voyager which keep comin out of the rubber sheet plannin to RMA it too. they dont ask many questions at all... but will make u wait for 15days for a new drive....
Dont worry s*** happens

A similar case was brought to my attention. Out of curiosity, did you buy it from SMC International??? That guy unfortunately has issues as he can't RMA it (you're not Kunal are you?)

Also could you PM the serial number? If yours is also SMC and if some values are matching with his that shows its the same batch production, possibility exists we have a defective batch around. Sooner you can forward it to, sooner i can forward to corsair guys can prevent other users suffering from it.
