Does anyone know where i can get Corsair RAM in bangalore and how much would it cost ( Corsair Value RAM 2 X 512 MB sticks). thanks in advance
 
^ Why exactly do you want Corsair "Value RAM"? Expensive over the normal stuff and nothing that even sets it apart! :huh:

Well one reason is for the brand name :ohyeah: and beacuse it has CL 2.5 while hynix/transcend has CL3

well twinmos is CL2.5 and can easily do CL2 at stock speeds :D
 
That said, if i bump the volts on the corsair it should do CL2 as well. Twinmos isnt available here, or at least my dealer cant get it. If transcend is available at CL 2.5 ill go for it. lemme check and get back.
 
^^There's no guarantee what the corsair will do. It all depends on what chips are there on it. Kingston and Corsair use the cheapest available ICs on their memory so its a hit or miss as to what you'll get. My advice, get Twinmos instead. Cheaper and you are guaranteed those MTec chips which do pretty well. LOL you were saying they are CL3, the Twinmos CL2.5 chips CANNOT DO CL3. However the CL3 chips are a different animal and crappy elpida ones.

well then i guess i wont go for corsair and if i can find twinmos ill go for those. btw which brand has UCCC chips?
