Hey Guys

I am creating this thread to let you know the awesome experience I had with Corsair RMA. Off course I have my dealer to thank as much as Corsair for making the entire process a dream experience. :)

A few days ago my system was not booting and I did every troubleshooting step available but nothing helped. In fact both my RAM modules (Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600 CL9) passed the memtest with flying colors. So I thought since the RAM was fine may be its the PSU thats causing BSODs. But during one of the BSODs, I noted that one of the sub-codes was related to RAM. So I took out the RAM and replaced it with my spare modules & the system booted just fine. This is the first time that I have seen when memtest has not been able to detect faulty RAM.
Anyway I contacted Corsair CC and was about to create a RMA request when the customer care representative told me to take the faulty RAM module to my dealer and see whether he replaces it or not. Since the dealer was only 5-6 kms away from my place, I thought to give it a try. I went to the dealer with the faulty RAM module and he asked me what was the problem. I gave him the module and told him that it was not working. To my utter & pleasant surprise he took my faulty RAM module and promptly gave me a brand new RAM module just like that over the counter. He dint even ask for the invoice. Mind you that this RAM was 4 months old that he replaced. I was so happy.

This has been one of the best RMA experiences for me. Kudos to Corsair & the dealer for making this happen. We need more companies & retailers to handle RMA requests like Corsair & this particular dealer. In fact IMO Western Digital should take a few pointers from Corsair. I have encountered nothing but frustration trying to RMA WD drives. But that is a story for another day.

PS: The RMA experience I had with Microsoft while replacing a RRODed Xbox 360 rates at par with this experience. In that case after I lodged a complaint within 24 hours a person was sent with a new console to my doorstep. :)

Guys feel free to post your views and experience with Corsair RMA service.

^^ Just had a run-in once, with my Voyager pen-drive concking off, so went and got it replaced, within 2 days all was done and I walked away with a brand new piece.

Highly satisfied with the handling off Kaizen Infotech. Will recommend Corsair anyday due to this.
