Why are you running them at CL16?
I was running it at DOCP Auto/standard mode so it could run at 3000 MHz. That's what changed it to CL16 automatically.
And to be honest, I never paid attention to check if it was running at CL15 or 16 as in the bios, I could see it running at 3000 MHz and that was what I was after because of the "high speed RAM favours AMD ryzen" thing back when ryzen was launched.

When I bought this setup in 2019, these sticks could only run at 2666 MHz with this same mobo. With time and bios updates, I could select 2933 and 3000 MHz but only if I chose DOCP. Doing it manually following the tutorials made the PC not boot up that time so DOCP was my only option.

Okay guys. So I talked to someone today and he said that my CPU might be the problem.

I have Ryzen 7 1700 and Asus Rog Strix B350-F
He said that 1st gen ryzen had RAM compatibility issues and had limited support for RAMs. Is it true? Can I upgrade my CPU alone to a 2nd gen and make use of these Adata sticks?

Bump and open to trade with B450, B550 motherboards as well.

That is true. First gen Ryzen were choosy about RAM.

You can never be sure with XMP/DOCP. It's basically a factory overclock that may or may not run on every system out there. There could even be a scenario where on the same board and two identical CPUs one may run it and the other won't.

Lol. I think it all comes down to silicon lottery. Let's see if I can get a 2nd or 3rd gen ryzen without breaking the bank.
