can anyone tell me the price of the 2x512MB sticks of these ....i am planning to get those but no one is telling me the actual price..... i heard that these things are little cheaper in chennai so, any one from chennai can help me out .....

Thanks

I would suggest you get OCZ or Mushkin if your paying that price...

Then again are you sure the Corsair sticks will run at 2.8V,cause you mobo is limited to that, unless you let Sunny VMod it :)

LOL for 16K, I'd rather get 2 sticks of 1G crucial ballistix directly from crucial store :P. They ship to india. Those are rated PC4000 but many have hit 275+ on them.

i am getting the TCCD chips and its not sensetive to voltages .... anyways i am getting the ram for mine new rig that is A8N SLI-D ....... i was planning to get a DFi but dropped the idea due to warranty issues ...

and if i want to vmod it i can do it on mine own ..... coz i have done that way before on mine A7N266 ..... :)

ooops new messages are not appending to old one like before ..... anyways i can't get any OCZ or muskin ...... i am getting corsair coz they have proper warranty support and all ...... someone told me that it is available for 11.5k in chennai ...... so i was just chking my luck before getting one ...... anyways any one from chennai can help ....... i have emailed them but tilll now no reply ..... :(
@ chaos dude i have a budget of 10k at a max i have increased that to 13k :) i can't take it to 16k ....... anyways again eith crucial same warranty problem is there .......... so i think corsair is the best choice ....

yeah i am sure about that ...... all XL's by corsair are TCCD not TCC5 ...... as far as i have found on net ...... no where i have seen that its TCC5 ......

It is only off late sinceTCCD production stopped that most original TCCD RAM has shifted to TCC5.

Best thing for you to do is to mail Corsair(the US office... not the Indian office) and confirm this...

Corsair doesnt use TCC5 in any of its product lines. Its all TCCD for sure :). The PDP XBLK is TCC5. BTW corsairs and DFI have numerous compatibility issues. So stay away from corsair if anyone thinks of DFI. Asus shud be fine though....

Yep Corsair XMS 3200XL is 100% guaranteed tccd. Samesung is producing the TCCD even now only for Corsair. Most others have shifted to either D5 or TCC5. but corsair is still getting enough TCCD.

Ok, checked some forums, Corsair is definately TCCD...

Though Rahul, if your paying 11.5k, you should look at other options. And just to confirm its (512*2) right ???

yeah its 2x512 .... but in delhi prices are like 13k ...... anyways i don't have any options ..... nothing is available here ...... :(
